My Husband

Bill was always a gentleman. He was kind, thoughtful, intelligent, loving and he possessed a wonderful sense of humor. I remember when we went to get our marriage license, Bill was living in the apartment below and I lived with my mother above his apartment. It was a duplex with the same address. I went first to give the clerk all the necessary information including my address. Bill was next so when he was to give his address I asked him to say lower. He responded by saying in front of the clerk, “Ann, you know there is only one apartment there.” The clerk never looked up or stopped typing – she just said, “It makes no difference to me.” He was devoted to his family and his family was likewise devoted to him. We all love him and miss him terribly. Bill once said to me, “Love is not like a faucet you can turn on and off.” So our Love for Bill constantly pours on and on and always will, as all of us depart this world for the great “beyond.”
